What We Consider for Finding a Good Brand Name:

  • A name that can be easily read and perceived by your target audience (association)
  • If possible, not your surname
  • A name that does not resemble your competitors in the market
  • Conducting term research about your market
  • Your brand’s industry matters. Where are you going to use your logo? (T-shirts, pencils, phones, etc.)
  • As short as possible
  • Has a phonetic harmony
  • Meaningful (Not very important as you can provide meaning to it)

Where Does the Name MODD Come From?

MODD is the abbreviation of “Motivation of Design Disciplines”. We had a motto while establishing our agency. We were not going to be just an advertising agency but a design center with vertical initiatives from different industries, venture projects, and product designs. Therefore, we started with the story of bringing all design disciplines together. In the past 10 years, we had two analogies “mode” and “mood”, but we still managed to be a powerful brand in our industry. Don’t we have any advantage? Of course, we had.
